Revive the launch of "Chapter Zero Chile", an initiative promoted by the Institute of Directors of Chile and EY, together with the Santiago Stock Exchange and the World Economic Forum, whose objective is to raise awareness about the responsibility of corporate governments in relation to climate change and its environmental, social and economic impact.
This session formally launched the Chilean chapter of CGI and its mandate to mobilize the incorporation of climate considerations into strategic decision-making by Corporate Boards in Chile. The guiding principles and questions on climate governance propelled by the World Economic Forum, its relevance and applicability in the Chilean context, as well as advantages, challenges, opportunities, and the way forward of the initiative in Chile will be addressed.
This session focuses on how to put climate governance initiatives into practice, considering issues such as the role of the board of directors, risk management, barriers to climate action progress, investor expectations and a new model of society.
Moderator: Cristián Rodríguez Chiffelle – Board Member, Chapter Zero Chile
